Monday, May 25th, 11am, The Frank Griggs Post # 370 of the American Legion in Llano, will be having a Memorial Day Ceremony. We will be placing wreathes and flowers on all of the war memorials on the Llano County Courthouse Square. We will unveil a new black granite Desert Storm Veterans monument to replace the old faded wooden sign and honor the service of those who served in Desert Storm. We will have presentation of the colors, Guest speakers, National Anthem sung by local talent Lainey Wright, TAPS played by LHS band member Stephen Brownlee and raising of the flag. The ceremony will be followed with refreshments. Everyone is evited to come and honor our war heroes and show them that we we do not forget their service. Without their service to their country we would not have the previleges we enjoy everyday so, take the time to Thank a Soldier either past or present.
