This year the Llano High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is putting together a Christmas Angel Tree for children in our community. The goal of this tree is to support families in financial difficulty. FCCLA wants to help as many children possible to have a magical Christmas. This tree is open for children birth – 14 years of age. Parents or legal guardians must nominate their own children for the tree. Registration deadline to place your child(ren) on the tree is December 5th. Any parent wishing to put their child(ren) on this tree needs to contact Deidre Henderson or Alyson Evans at 248-2224 for further information.
Beginning November 24th, trees will be placed at various locations in town for community members to view. Individuals may choose an angel (child) to buy gifts for. Gifts should be returned, unwrapped and labeled, to the location they adopted the angel from. Exact locations will be announced at a later date. Any person wishing to make a monetary donation to the cause may drop it by the LHS office or mail to FCCLA 2509 Hwy 16 South, Llano, TX 78643.
